Original vintage Soviet constructivist magazine Science and Technology Nauka i Tehnika #51 May 1930. Nauka i Tehnika was a monthly magazine on scientific and technical breakthroughs in the USSR. The cover features a drawing of the production of the electric meter at the factory in name of Kulakov in Leningrad. The issue features articles about oil shale in the Leningrad region; replanting and hilling plants; burning coal in a mine; brewing barley in the USSR; airplanes on rails; new inventions such as a large diesel plant, a truck with a diesel engine; the study of highways; the Chudsko-Pechora treasure of amulets and jewellery; photographic a method of decorating products and surfaces, patented in Germany and others, accompanied by illustrations and schemes. Published by Leningradsky Oblaslit, 24 pages. Good condition, browning, minor pen traces.
