The issue includes articles about flooding of western Turkmenistan; modern artillery; lacquer wood, and its use; synthetic rubber; production of ammonium and sulphur sulphate; rocket technology; fog and smoke control using ultrasound; single-bladed propeller; construction of the Lincoln Tunnel, an approximately 1.5-mile-long tunnel under the Hudson River, connecting Weehawken, New Jersey, to the west with Midtown Manhattan in New York City to the east, constructed in 1937.
