Original vintage Soviet constructivist magazine Science and Technology Nauka i Tehnika #25-26 May 1931. Nauka i Tehnika was a monthly magazine on scientific and technical breakthroughs in the USSR. The cover features a drawing of the largest drawbridge across the Delaware River, connecting BurlingtonĀ to Bristol in the United States. Construction of the bridge started on April 1, 1930, and the bridge opened to traffic on May 2, 1931. The issue includes articles about drawbridges in Leningrad; the fire of an oil gusher in Maikop, Republic of Adygea in Russia; determination of cloud heights using a searchlight; transportation of a hydroelectric generator for the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station; All-Union Arctic Institute in Leningrad; production achievements of the Sevkabel company; new discoveries in veterinary medicine and others, accompanied by illustrations and schemes. Published by Leningradsky Oblastlit, 24 pages. Fair condition, tears on the spine and some pages, stain, browning, pencil marks.
