Original vintage Soviet constructivist magazine Science and Technology Nauka i Tehnika #37-38 July 1931. Nauka i Tehnika was a monthly magazine on scientific and technical breakthroughs in the USSR. The cover features a photograph of the diesel Stalin with a power of 3.250 hp. The magazine includes articles about the creation of this diesel at the Russian diesel plant; ferrous metal mining; artificial asphalt from Soviet oil; methods for producing aluminum and magnesium; agricultural news such as the use of a rotolactor, the first invention for milking a large number of cows successively and largely automatically, using a rotating platform; the invention of a new design of the threshing machine; a river train; the production of paper from straw; a new motorboat engine; fire-fighting installations on airplanes, a new type of aeroplane and others, accompanied by illustrations and schemes. Published by Leningradsky Oblastlit, 24 pages. Poor condition, tears on the spine and pages, the spine is loose, browning, pencil marks.
