Constructivist film magazine Soviet Movie Screen, issue number 26, 26th June 1928. Printed in Moscow. Weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. Photomontage cover with scenes from various films and entitled ‘Double Foreign Trash’. A second photomontage appears on the back cover. The back pages include a double-spread advertisement for ‘Two Armoured Cars’ a film directed by S. Timoshenko and produced by Sovkino. List of some artwork inside: A surrealist painting to accompany the article ‘The Standards of Foreign Pictures’ and a cartoon strip entitled ‘Douglas Kinochin does not want to be corrupted’ both by M. Getmansky; an illustrated story entitled ‘The Road of Love’, using surrealist techniques, by E. Tolkachev.Very good condition, light bumps on margins, small red cross in the top left corner of the front cover. 15 pages.
