Constructivist film magazine Soviet Movie Screen, issue number 36, 7th September 1926. Printed in Moscow. Weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. A photomontage front cover taken from the film ‘Six Parts of the World’ directed by Dziga Vetov, a photographic still from the film ‘Alim’ on the back cover. Inside are articles ‘Good Beginnings’ and a feature on the factories in Odessa. There is also a wide spread on ‘People of Cinema’, accompanied by their photographs and a short biography. List of artwork inside: illustration accompanying the article ‘Conquest Principality’; photographs accompanying ‘My Autobiography’ by Moskvin. Fair condition, small stains on the front cover.
