(previously F.S.R.) an organisation formed on the initiative of the Communist International in 1927, with the purpose of coordinating solidarity efforts with the Soviet Union around the world. Constructivist cover. Illustrated by W. Gropper, U.S. cartoonist, painter, lithographer, and muralist. A committed radical, Gropper is best known for the political work which he contributed to left wing publications. This issue contains such articles, stories and essays: "The witches'cauldron" by A.
