The front cover features a still from the film Mutiny (Myatezh), a 1928 Soviet war drama film directed by Semyon Tymoshenko based on the novel of the same name by Dmitry Furmanov; the back cover features the actor Cherkasov in the film Luna sleva, a 1928 Soviet silent feature film directed by Alexander Ivanov.
