Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #3 January 1929. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The front and back covers feature photographs by A Nikiforov of the actor Leonid Yurenev as Vanichka and actors R. Puznaya and A. Sashin in the film The Last Attraction, a 1929 Soviet film directed by Ivan Pravov and Olga Preobrazhenskaya. The issue includes various advertisements; the articles about comedies in cinema, on the example of the American film Chicago of 1928 and the Soviet film The Doll with Millions, a 1928 Soviet silent comedy film starring Igor Ilyinsky; about the career of Charlie Chaplin; about the creation of animation in the studio of N. Khodataev, a Russian and Soviet artist, sculptor and animator; the arrival of the Kabuki Theater in Moscow; about the Soviet art in Japan; and others.
