Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #5 January 1929. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The front cover features a photograph of the actress Nata Vachnadze in the film Legal Marriage by A. Orlov. The issue includes various advertisements; the articles about French film congress; Dziga Vertov, a Soviet pioneer documentary film and newsreel director, as well as a cinema theorist and his movie Man with a Movie Camera, an experimental 1929 Soviet silent documentary film with photographs by A. Levitsky; photography of nature and animals; actors and their work with photographs by N. Yakovlev, F. Ilichev, B.Tseytlin, Timofeev; phonograph A.
