Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #9 1926. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The front cover features a photograph of the actress Shaterpikova in the film Borba Gigantov, a Soviet drama film directed by Viktor Turin, the back cover features a photograph of the actor Sobolevsky in the film The Devil's Wheel (Chyortovo koleso), a 1926 Soviet silent crime film directed by Grigori Kozintsev and Leonid Trauberg. The issue features articles about roles of captions in films by Mikhail Levidov, a Soviet writer, playwright and journalist with a caricature by Mariya Sinyakova; production of film Borba Gigantov; portraits of E. Kuzis, the assistant of director Room, actress Nune Aganbekova, director E. Stanislavsky, screenwriter N. Borisov, actor N. Panov; Douglas Fairbanks, an American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer, accompanied with photographs by M Getmansky, Y Steinberg, M Sokolov. 15 pages. Poor condition, spine is loose, tears on the spine and pages, stain, browning.
