Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #30 1926. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The front cover features a photograph of the actor Emil Jannings, a German actor, popular in the 1920s in Hollywood. The issue features the poem by Abram Argo, Russian Soviet poet, playwright, and translator with illustrations by M. Getmansky; the film Vasya the Reformator, a Soviet film 1926, Odessa film factory VUFKU, by directors Alexander Dovzhenko and Faust Lopatinsky; a photographic portrait of Heinrich Piel, known professionally as Harry Piel, was a prolific German actor, film director, screenwriter, and film producer who was involved in over 150 film; an article by Harold Lloyd, an American actor, comedian, and stunt performer who appeared in many silent comedy films. 15 pages. Poor condition, the spine and pages are loose, minor tears, stain, browning.
