Original vintage Constructivist film magazine Soviet Screen Sovetsky Ekran #29 July 1929. It was a weekly magazine on recent developments in film in the USSR. The front cover features a photograph by Yury Yurin, and the back cover features an advertisement for the film Postoronnyaya Zhenshchina, a 1929 Soviet silent feature film directed by Ivan Pyriev at the Sovkino film studio. The issue includes various advertisements; the news of the past week, such as Departure to Europe by the plane Krylia Sovietov (Wings of the Soviets),  a Soviet passenger aircraft of the 1930s; a rally of 6000 pioneers in Moscow; yachts of sailing clubs in Leningrad and others illustrated with photographs; an article about Felix Dzerzhinsky, nicknamed "Iron Felix", a Bolshevik revolutionary and official; the tenth anniversary of the defeat of Kolchak, an Imperial Russian admiral, military leader and polar explorer who served in the Imperial Russian Navy; victory over the drought in the Mozdok steppes, accompanied with photographs and illustrations by N. Skrjabina, M. Hrapkovsky, S. Kanevsky, K. Golstein, Averin. Published by Glavlit, 15 pages. Good condition, tears on the spine, spine is loose, browning.
