Unique publication celebrating the centenary of the Maly Theatre in Moscow, published in a limited run of 1500 copies. The book contains essays examining the history, future, and impact of the venue on Russian and Soviet theatre in general (one of the texts written by Anatoly Lunacharsky). Graphics by Boris Titov accompany the texts. The notes to a cantata composed by Sergei Vasilenko in honour of the centenary of the Theatre are included at the end. Poor condition, cover is detached from inner pages, graphics peeling from pages but still attached, staining, foxing, creasing, minor paper loss on spine.
