Stroyim - We Are Building #16 1934

Issue #16 of Stroyim (We Are Building), a Soviet photojournalism magazine. Published in 1934. The cover features a great photomontage of a young worker in overalls gesturing at a man holding his fist in the air, beneath text reading 'Rot Front'; both are surrounded by factory buildings. The issue includes an article on Soviet literature, with photos of writers and academics, including Ilya Ehrenberg, Otto Schmidt, Nikita Izotov and Leonid Leonov. Other articles focus on a visit by Ordzhonikidze to a factory in the Urals, and on Soviet-produced motorcycles. Poor condition, tears, creasing, marks, foxing. Folded horizontally.
