Stroyim - We Are Building #20 1937

Issue #12 of Stroyim (We Are Building), a constructivist photojournalism magazine. This is an interesting issue which celebrates Stalin's election to the Supreme Soviet. Includes an article on the New Donbass, with great photos of a metallurgical complex and a coal mine, and an article about Vladivostok. Includes photos of soldiers in navy uniforms reading a newpaper, tanks in the streets of Vladivostok and architecture. Great cover showing a photo of Stalin towering above a crowd of people who are smiling and holding a sign welcoming him. Poor condition, cover is torn along the spine with paper losses, tears, foxing, creasing, staining. Folded horizontally.
