Original vintage publication The Professional Development of the USSR / Professionalnoe Dvizhenie SSSR compiled by the Commission for the Study of the History of the Trade Union Movement of the USSR. The publication includes such articles as The attempt on V.L. Lenin in 1918; famine in Central Russia; housing construction; the role of women in production; the cultural work of trade unions; The New Economic Policy (NEP) period, an economic policy of the Soviet Union proposed by Vladimir Lenin in 1921 as a temporary expedient; The July Days, a period of unrest in Petrograd, Russia, between 16–20 July 1917, that was characterised by spontaneous armed demonstrations by soldiers, sailors, and industrial workers engaged against the Russian Provisional Government; subbotniks, days of volunteer unpaid work on weekends after the October Revolution and others. Fair condition, the pages are loose, tears and paper losses on the cover and pages, creasing, stain, minor foxing.
