The World Revolution Literature was the only magazine in the USSR that comprehensively covered the cultural life of the West and the East, dedicated to the international proletarian and revolutionary literature and art. The magazine began to appear in 1931 and received the subtitle “international”. The title page is decorated with the slogan “Workers of all countries, unite!” The main purpose of the magazine was to give the workers of the whole world, "instead of foreign and hostile literature, the literature of the world revolution." The “revolutionism” of the magazine was emphasized by a new design with characteristic constructivist fonts and layout. This issue includes stories entitled "Do You Hear Their Voices?" by Whittaker Chambers, "Bloody Week" by Lila Gerrero. Illustrations by the artists such as A Lebedinsky, l Lozovick, Ya Berk and William Gropper, a U.S. cartoonist, painter, lithographer, and muralist. Fair condition. Rubbings, discolouration and dust staining on the cover and pages. Back cover is frayed. Published by GOSLITIZDAT 1932. 120 pages.
