Original vintage magazine Theatrical Decade Teatralnaya Dekada #31 1936. The Soviet magazine, published in Moscow in 1934-37 and dedicated to new plays reviews, theatres, and famous actors. The cover features a scene from the Theatre of Folk Art "Cossack" performed by the Don Cossacks. The issue includes articles about programmes of the Bolshoi Theatre for November with such plays and operas as Faust, Rigoletto, Mazepa, Dubrovsky, The Silent Don, Prince Igor; Eighth All-Union Congress of Soviets and the new constitution of the Soviet Union; 15th anniversary of the Vakhtangov Theater with photos of artists; Floridsdorf by Friedrich Wolf, a German politically engaged writer; the reviews of different plays, theatre libretto, accompanied by drawings by V. Rudnev. 16 pages. Fair condition, pages are loose, some tears, browning.
