Soviet magazine Thirty Days, issue number 2, 1929. An illustrated Constructivist monthly magazine on current affairs in the Soviet Union. Published by Five Years publishing house in Moscow. A stylised black, blue and red Constructivist front cover designed by V Kozlinsky. This edition includes a feature on Alexander Griboedov, the Russian diplomat, poet, playwright and composer, a short story ‘The Child’ and articles ‘Trade Engine’ and Granite Pages with photo illustrations by A Rodchenko. List of artwork includes; illustrations by V Kozlincky to accompany P Loginov’s story; illustrations to accompany the ‘Fairytale of the Sea’; illustrations by B Antonovsky to accompany the story ‘The Child’; illustrations by V Cvarog to accompany the story ‘Nighttime Guest’. Poor condition, front cover detached back cover missing. Spine badly damaged and binding ripped. Some pages badly frayed (17-18). 93 pages.
