French language edition of issue #2 1936 USSR in Construction. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is dedicated to the Soviet Republic of Armenia, and features a wide range of constructivist photos and photomontages by A Sterenberg and Nikolai Troshin. It includes a photo of Stalin with textile worker Helene Abramian, Lake Sevan, Mount Ararat, a hydroelectric power station, industry, Armenian landscape and agriculture, architecture and schools. Includes a great image of a palm tree and a camel by M Sarian on the back cover. Fair condition, creasing, staining, tears. An image is missing from the back inner cover.
