USSR in Construction #3 1934

Issue #3 of CCCR Na Stroike / USSR in Construction, from March 1934. USSR in Construction was a publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed artists of the time. The isue focuses on the Dnieper Metallurgical combine in Ukraine; a pull out features photos, maps, and illustrations of the Dneprokombinat power supply scheme, A double page spread shows a photomontage with Stalin superimposed over images of industrial buildings and factories in cog shapes. The central page pull out shows a photomontage of Lenin, a reservoir, a factory and an electricity pylon. Layout by S. Yantorova, artwork by Nikolai Troshin, Z. Deynek, M. V. Alpert, S. V.
