English language version of issue #1 Volume 1, USSR in Construction, dated 1930. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue includes photos of the oilfields of Baku, oil refineries, a workers' town in Amernikand (Baku), a mechanized bread factory, Leningrad metalworks and an "Electro-Steel" plant.
