Issue #10 of СССР на стройке / SSSR Na Stroika / USSR in Construction, published 1938. USSR in Construction was a publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, Spanish and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. The issue is devoted to Marine Komsomols, and features photos from Mikhail Prekhner. Photos show members of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Komsomol) on boats, at sea, on warships, in navy uniforms, and practising drills, and there is a good collection of photos of warships, engine rooms, ship radio operators, and men preparing the ship's weapons. The layout is designed by S Telingater, and the translation is by Leon Sobolev. The cover shows a great photo of a smiling Marine Komsomol member in a sailor's uniform smiling, with a war ship in the background. Poor condition, foxing, staining, creasing, tears, minor paper skimming on front cover, paper losses on back cover. Inner pages are in fair condition.
