English langugage version of issue #11 USSR in Construction, dated 1934. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue focuses on Hibini (Khibiny) region on the Kola Peninsular, in the Arctic circle, and features great photography of the region, including a pull out section with photos of the town Hibinogorsk and surrounding landscape. The magazine includes plenty of statistics on industry and growth in the region, with dramatic photos of mills, electric pylons, workers in factories and more. Good condition, staining, marks on the cover.
