English language version of USSR in Construction, issue #2 1938. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. The issue is dedicated to the Moscow-Volga canal. A Rodechnko managed the artistic composition, and the issue has artwork by Z Deyneka. Contains graphics illustrating statistics about the canal, photos boats on the canal, and photos of its construction with portraits of people involved. Poor condition, front and back covers are completely detached with paper skimming, tears and paper losses. Inner pages are in very good condition, aside a small paper loss in the margin of one page.
