English language version of issue #3 USSR in Construction, 1938. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue focuses on the Kirghiz soviet Socialist Republic, which today forms Kyrgyzstan. This is a great issue which features photos of people fighting on horseback, schools, the house of the People's Commissariats, laboratories and technical institutes in the region. Good condition, a photograph is missing from the first page, large tear along the spine of the cover, creasing.
