Issue #4-5 of USSR in Construction, 1936. USSR in Construction was a publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. These issues are devoted to Soviet Georgia. The introduction is provided in Russian and Georgian, and photos and photomontages show New Tiflis (now Tbilisi) and Georgian landscape, wildlife and architecture. Plan and layout by M Alpert and El Lissitzky, Poor condition, tears, foxing, staining, paper loss on cover, creasing. Ink stamp on the cover, ink stamps and writing on inner pages.
