English language edition of USSR in Construction Issue #5-6, 1930. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. These issues, titled 'More Iron! More Steel! More Machinery!', cover a variety of topics including metal plants, mechanising farming, and Soviet Turkmenia. Photos are by I Tartalovsly, A Skurikhin, G Petrusov, A Shaihet, F Kislov, A Lukynanov, N Sanov, S Krasinsky and others, and are arranged by R Ostrovsky. Poor condition, vertical fold through centre of the magazine, tears, creasing, paper loss on cover. Damage to the spine - centre page is loose.
