Issue #6 of СССР на стройке / SSSR Na Stroika / USSR in Construction, from 1935. USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is dedicated to the children of the Soviet Union and features photography by S Fridland, and E Mikylina, and maps and diagrams by Z Deyneka. Articles focus on schooling - 'a decisive step in the Cultural Revolution' - an arts school for children, and children's music and theatre. Poor condition, pin holes on covre, creases, staining, pencil drawings on front cover, sticker on back cover. Inside pages are in good condition.
