Issue #6 of USSR in Construction, 1940. USSR in Construction was a monthly constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is dedicated to Soviet children, and includes features on newborn babies, children's entertainment with photos of a circus, clowns and puppet shows, and education. Photos show children doing a range of activities including playing musical instruments, dancing, skiing, swimming, visiting the zoo and building model aeroplanes. Very good condition, minor wearing on the spine.
