USSR in Construction was a constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This is a fascinating issue, focusing on public health in the Soviet Union and watersports. The magazine includes features on the growing Soviet population, with photos of midwives and children, an article about factory hospitals, and a great section on holidays, which is accompanied by coloured images of people swimming in the sea by a sanatorium, and visitors relaxing in Sochi.
