USSR in Construction #8 1936

Issue #8 of USSR in Construction, published 1936. USSR in Construction was a publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is dedicated to the Soviet Union's wood exports, and features artwork by Rodchenko and V Stepanova and photos from M Katsenko and G Petrusov. Photos inside show images of logging, forests, planks of wood, Archangel's wood port, and photos and photomontages of ships, and a page dedicated to quality of life in the Soviet Union with domestic scenes. Poor condition, tears, creasing, staining. Writing in pen on inner pages, ink stamp on the front cover.
