Issue #4 of USSR in Construction, 1940. USSR in Construction was a monthly constructivist publication dedicated to construction projects and industry in the USSR, published in Russian, French, English, and German 1930 to 1941 as a collaboration between some of the most esteemed Soviet artists of the time. This issue is titled 'Shastlivy Starosti' (Happy Old Age) and focuses on elderly citizens in the USSR. Features photos of 'veterans of the revolution' in a care home, an article on long life expectancy in the Soviet Union, and a poem by Victor Gusev about old age. Very good condition, cover is torn on the spine.
