Soviet Constructivist magazine Worker and Theatre, issue number 10, 24th November, 1924. A weekly magazine giving updates about theatre, film music, radio and stage. First published in 1923, edited in Leningrad. A photograph from the 'Sevzapkino' new release 'Stepan Halturin' on the front cover, advertisements for the plays 'Rose' and 'Hero of Air'. This edition includes articles entitled 'Theatre - The Young' and an extended feature 'Again about the 'Living Gazette''. Another illustrated article focusses on the 'Great Dramatic Theatre', including its production 'Revolt of Machines'. List of artwork inside: illustrations by E Vengerovskaya to accompany the article 'Great Dramatic Theatre'; photographs of scenes from the Sevzapkino film 'Stepan Halturin'. Fair condition, pages fairly delicate, page 9-10 has been cut out. 30 pages.
