Soviet Constructivist magazine Worker and Theatre, issue number 2, 10th January, 1930. A weekly magazine giving updates about theatre, film music, radio and stage. First published in 1923, edited in Leningrad. This edition's theme is 'antirealism' includes articles entitled 'The Muscial Spike', 'Artist and Viewer' and a feature on the new release 'Tramway of Piety'. List of some artwork inside: a selection of photographs of the actors and actress in the Moscow play 'Remelting'; a caricature by Tamruchin of Anton Shvarits; a photograph of pianist A Borovski; a drawing by V N Solovyev to accompany the Programme of Leningrad Theatre which appears as a separate booklet inside the magazine.
