Soviet Constructivist magazine Worker and Theatre, issue number 37, 15th September, 1929. A weekly magazine giving updates about theatre, film music, radio and stage. First published in 1923, edited in Leningrad. A photomontage of photographs from various productions including 'At Random' and 'Canvas Trousers' on the front cover, a timetable by 'The Leningrad Area's Department of Sovkino' on the back cover. This edition includes articles 'Fight for the Youth', 'The Red Theatre Must Live' and feature on the 'Life of the Worker's Clubs'. List of some artwork inside: a carciature of V N Solovyev the director of 'Crooked Mirror'; a photogrpah of the actors S I Migai and N K Pechkovsky. Very good condition, a small tear on the bottom corner of the back cover. 24 pages.
