Gustav Klutsis (1895-1938) was a pioneering constructivist artist and photographer, known for developing photomontage techniques. This book examines his life, artistic training, photomontage, polygraphs, posters, artistic constructions and experiments, and his teaching. Contains colour photographs of his work, including Graphic Construction (1921-22), the Radiooperator series (1922), and a selection of his posters and illustrations, including illustrations for Mayakovsky's poem Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. 199 pages.
