Illustrirovannaya Gazetta is an illustrated supplement to the newspaper Pravda. Published 22 February 1941. This is a colourful and bold issue with photos printed in red and blue. It includes an interesting feature on the 18th All-Union Communist Party conference, with photos of delegates and a panaroma of the conference hall showing the entire audience. An striking double page spread is devoted to the Soviet People's Army, and shows soldiers and tanks in the snow. The issue also contains an article titled '20 Years of Soviet Georgia', with a panaroma of Tbilisi and photos of Georgian architecture, people dancing and mines. Poor condition, tear along the spine, inside pages loose, staining. Inner pages are otherwise in good condition.
