Original vintage Soviet Magazine Silk / Shelk, technical magazine No 4 July-August 1933, issued by Head Office of the Silk Industry, published by GIZLEGPROM. The cover of the magazine features bold red and white bold lettering and a red frame, the issue features articles on the quality of products and competition in the silk industry, cocooning works, purity of raw silk, development of the design of devices for automating a weaving machine when working with rayon, a formula for determining the weight equivalent, shuttle brake of a silk weaving machine, with tables, microscope photographs of silk threads, formulas. 64 pages. Good condition, light browning on the cover, uncut pages as issued, stamps of the defunct library on pages.
