This booklet is dedicated to Victory of the Allies over Nazi Germany. Articles describe achievements of the Allies in different part of the words. Contains photographs of celebrations of V day in united Kingdom, USA, Europe and so on. Has colourful maps made by E. Longman, depicting different stages of Second World War in progress. Several pages are dedicated to humour and caricatures, one of the artists was Rowland Emett, English cartoonist and constructor of whimsical kinetic sculpture. Pictures by John Everard of camel and donkey race meeting provided in Coiro by G.H.Q. for entertainment of the troops during their V.E. holiday. Everard was a First World War veteran and former tea planter, who became a British press and studio photographer. Good condition, rubbings and minor loss of material on the spine and on the margins. Tear on page 25.
