Issue #14 (36) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 31 July 1924. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue focuses on WW1 and includes a summary of the war which provides statistics on the financial cost, numbers of people killed, and the impact on individual countries. Accompanying photographs show destroyed towns and villages. The issue also features a story by V Lidin with illustrations by German artist George Grosz. A photo collage shows 'collaborators of the World War'; further photographs show war ships preparing for a future war. Good condition, browning, creasing and minor tears on page edges. No staples - pages are loose.
