Prozhektor is Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper Pravda in 1923-1935 . Issue #49 (16), dated 2 December 1928. the issue includes an article titled 'Ten Years of the Fight for Emancipation and Freedom of Working Women' with photos of women at conferences, and working as engineers, midwives and in shops. Also includes an article titled 'Workers of the Ruhr are Betrayed But Not Beaten', a story called 'The Russian Soul', and a feature on Madrid. The issue contains satirical drawings and cartoons by a range of artists such as M Babichenko, Kukryniksy, and Y Ganf. Very good condition, tear on cover, minor foxing, staples are rusted.
