Issue #16 (38) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 31 August 1924. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The cover is dedicated to Anglo-Soviet negotiations, featuring a photo of USSR delegate C Rakovsky. Inside, a story 'The Wonderful Adventures of the Tailor Fokin' is accompanied by illustrations by Konstantin Rotov. An article criticises the lynching of Black people in America. Also includes a profile on Soviet Socialist Realist writer Fedor Gladkov, as well as cartoons, advertisements, photographs, articles and poetry. Fair condition, staining, creasing, minor paper losses. No staples, pages are loose.
