Four contemporary bound books: "Mémoires d'une glace", "Le triomphe de la femme", "Les Alcoves", "Entre Femmes". "Mémoires d'une glace" illustrated by Albert Guillaume, French painter and caricaturist, became a leading caricaturist during the Belle Époque. Preface is written by Paul Hervieu, French novelist and playwright. Published in edition of 15 copies in Japanese paper and 10 copies in Chinese paper. "Le triomphe de la femme" and "Les Alcoves" illustrated by Ferdinand Bac, French cartoonist, artist and writer. He mixed in the fashionable world of Paris of the Belle Époque, and was known for his caricatures, which appeared in popular journals. "Le triomphe de la femme" was published in edition of 25 copies in Japanese paper and 10 copies in Chinese paper. "Entre Femmes" was illustrated by G.M. Lami. Published in edition of 20 copies in Japanese paper. "Les Alcoves" and "Entre Femmes" are made in colour. First page of the book has colourful illustration. Published by H. Simonis Empis. Fair condition, staining, rubbings on the spine and on the margins. One Illustration is detached.
