This pocket-size edition is part of the English-language series published by the Foreign Languages Publishing House in Moscow, which aims at edification of the foreign, particularly American readers, about all the aspects of the Soviet reality. The book is devoted to the folk arts and crafts of the USSR. The essay by professor A.V. Bakushinsky is intermingled with reproductions of the examples of the folk artwork from all over the country, as well as with shots of their production. Unlike other issues in the series, this volume contains reproductions in colour, too. The cover's design and the arrangement belong to Boris Titov. Excellent condition, the item is fully preserved, very light scratches along the spine on the front cover. 24 pages.
