Illustrirovannaya Gazeta is an illustrated photojournalism supplement to Pravda newspaper. This issue has a bold and colourful design. The cover shows a photo of a tank, steam engines and factories, with a timeline imposed over the image demonstrating the growth of the USSR budget from 1938 to 1941. Inside, articles focus on a session of the Supreme Council, with photos showing various Deputies, and on the speed of industrialisation. An interesting feature titled 'How to Shoot a Film' has photos of film sets and actors. The back cover includes a summary of foreign newspaper headlines and photos. Very good condition, minor tears and creasing, minor staining.
