Great constructivist cover made by A. Rodchenko for issue number 2(Apr-May) of LEF magazine (Left Front of the Arts). Avant-garde magazine was edited by V. Mayakovsky and had widely ranging association of writers, photographers, critics and designers in the Soviet Union. This issue includes some illustrations including designs for Dobrolet airline by renowned artists of constructivism, such as: George Gross, Lavinski, Stepanova, A. Rodchenko. Edition of 5000, published by Gosizdat. Good condition, modern binding with original covers. Crease on the top right corner of inside cover and next few pages. Minor staining. Pencil remark on the inside of back cover. Pages trimmed along the edges. 177 pages.
