Issue #1 (119) of Prozhektor, a Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine, dated 1 January 1928. Prozhektor was published as a supplement to Pravda newspaper from 1923 to 1935. The issue contains photos of a military parade in Red Square, a short story titled Portrait of a Writer by A Zorich, illustrated by K Rotov, and a poster of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, with portraits of Stalin, Rykov, Bukharin, Kuybyshev, Kalinin, Rudzytak, Molotov, Voroshilov, and Tomsky. Contains a wide array of advertisements, photographs, articles, drawings and short stories. Poor condition, foxing, staining.
