"Prozhektor" is Soviet illustrated literary and satirical magazine. It was published in Moscow as a supplement to the newspaper "Pravda" in 1923-1935. At that time, the only USSR in the multi-colour magazine. Illustrated by D. Melnikov, Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, poster artist, cartoonist. And A. Topikov, graphic and cartoonist, is best known for its anti-religious illustrations and posters. Among contributing writers are B. Reznikov, A. Gabor, Hungarian poet, translator and playwright; N. Labkovsky, Russian Soviet writer, playwright, translator, songwriter, author of many popular songs; L. Varshavsky, Russian art historian, art critic, historian of Russian graphics and others. Published by newspaper "Pravda" publishers, 45 000 copies. Poor condition, heavy staining, tears and loss of material on the margins, covers are partially detached. Some pages have bent corners. Rusty staples. Pencil handwriting on the top of back cover. 22 pages.
